Little Seeds Aftercare offers a nurturing and stimulating aftercare facility for Sweet Valley Primary School children. We have an inter- leading gate which leads from the Sweet Valley sports fields directly onto the aftercare property. Thus the transition from school to aftercare is very safe as the children do not need to walk on any outside roads. Our aftercare facility is a safe, secure and fully enclosed environment, with ample inside and outside play areas. 

As Little Seeds is smaller than most aftercares, it offers a much more nurturing environment. It is able to provide the children with more individual attention. Paula De Wet is our aftercare supervisor and she is passionate about the well- being of the children in her care.


During the first weeks of the school year, Paula fetches the children directly from their classrooms to walk them across to the aftercare facility. This allows the children the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the route before they are expected to walk to aftercare independently. Paula also manages extra mural schedules and will send children off to extra-murals as needed.

The children receive sandwiches and juice on arrival at the aftercare and on Fridays they receive a special treat. Homework is supervised during the afternoon. The aftercare space is warm and welcoming and the children have a wide variety of free choice activities to keep them occupied throughout the afternoon.
